Visiting Getty Center 5/21/11

May 21, 2011

I visited Getty yesterday because of the special exhibition “Paris: Life and Luxury”. This exhibition focuses on the elite class in Paris in 18th century, food, cloths, arts, music, furniture, jewelry, science–. I usually visit Getty with  family/friends tourists. For that purpose I usually don’t stay with free hours concept. Unlike my usual visit my husband and I did not have any plan yesterday! So we stayed morning to late afternoon enjoying unplanned hours. That was great! This museum has everything, amazing collection, architecture, and view. Not only the special exhibition but also the permanent collection was fun to walk around.  In between looking the impressive paintings we can go outside to feel the ocean air and view to LA city. Please see some of photos from this visit in Photo section.
